Snow and Moonlight

The trees grow bare during the cold, cruel weeks, but whenever night steps in, everything looks different in the mid-winter moonlight.

The branches extended seem like hands yearning for the sweet lunar glow in the shivering nights. It reaches out, wanting to be enlightened by the heavens above. And the moon smiles along with the stars as they willingly spread happiness to the bittersweet forests or longing souls.
